How to Choose RPA Software: 8 Things to Consider
What is one thing to consider when choosing robotic process automation (RPA) software? To help you determine which RPA software to choose, we asked software engineers and business leaders for their best insights. From content intelligence to ease of bot configuration, there are several things to consider when choosing the right RPA software for your business. Robotic automation software can help in 100% process optimization, reducing any human intervention. However, the most important factor is to consider the sentiment of words and sentences while framing bot responses. To attain this, a better and well-followed approach is applying natural language processing (NLP) and achieving content intelligence (selection of best words) to support the process.
Now Hiring: Robots to Your Workplace
This transformation often leads to businesses investing in digital solutions in order to stay relevant in an increasingly competitive and saturated market. The number of digital workers entering the workforce will increase by 50 percent by 2021, according to new IDC research. With the explosion of the robotic process automation market (RPA), there are now millions of digital workers employed at businesses around the world. So, don't be surprised to see a new robotic colleague at your next company meeting as organisations give at least one robot to every employee to augment their day-to-day activities. But despite the promise that trillions of dollars are expected to be saved by deploying digital workers, most RPA projects fail to fully deliver on that promise.
Software robots' workforce contributions will increase 50% in the next 2 years
No, the robots are not coming for your job as they ready to take over the world ... yet. But the future of the world's workforce will mark a significant shift and work will be heavily reliant on the teamwork of human and machine, noted the just-released IDC white paper, Content Intelligence for the Future of Work. And we're not quite in sci-fi film territory either, said Holly Muscolino, research vice president of content and process strategies and the future of work at IDC. "A software robot (or'digital worker') is essentially a software program that automates a task that has previously been accomplished by a human worker," Muscolino explained. "The term'robot' is used to signify the role that these software solutions play in automation, however, beyond that, there is no relationship between a software robot and the physical robots that we may see on the manufacturing line, patrolling supermarket aisles on starring in'Star Wars'' movies." Muscolino added, "A variety of software technologies are classified as'digital workers.' The technology gaining the most airtime today is robotic process automation (RPA), but other automation technologies, and AI-enabled technologies, like digital assistants and chatbots, are also classified as'digital workers'."

Boosting Your Content Marketing Strategies with AI
In this digital age, improving your content marketing strategies with AI is a no-brainer. Regardless of what story your brand is trying to tell, a machine can always improve how you say it. The idea of content marketing is to increase your brand presence among customers by providing relevant content. But, it's not as easy as it sounds – not even close. The rules are always changing with the ever-evolving Google algorithm. Not only are blog posts longer, but readability is also now an essential, and so are feedbacks.
Can Robots Write Better Financial Ad Copy Than You?
Financial marketers have to crank out a lot of content -- blogs, ad copy, social media posts, web content, and more. Everyone grinding out content would like to have more help. Would you hire the writer who put together the following paragraph on Search Engine Optimization? "Search engine marketers find and rank on websites by making sure they have content relevant to other visitors. In order to have useful content, try clicking on links in a newspaper, magazine, book or website. Do that, and now you will have found good links in other sites that you would now like to link to in a future article. To promote it more, list it in your blog, which will then promote it much more on the web."

How to Make Conversational AI Smarter
Businesses can now use conversational AI to automate customer-facing touchpoints everywhere -- on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, on their website, their app or on voice assistant devices. Industry giants like Apple, Amazon, Baidu, Facebook, Google, IBM and Microsoft are investing large resources to drive AI progress. And though it's still relatively new among enterprises, by 2021 Gartner predicts 25% of enterprises across the globe will have a virtual assistant to handle support issues. If your organization is not yet familiar with conversational artificial intelligence, it is a set of technologies that enable computers to simulate real conversations. According to Georgia Partners, conversational AI refers to the use of messaging apps, speech-based assistants and chatbots to automate communication and create personalized customer experiences at scale.
The Secret to Content Marketing Success? Content Intelligence.
When it comes to content intelligence, it is applied in the form of data recognition and tracking. For example, this could involve a CRM that anticipates a contact's likelihood to close or a platform anticipating why your content is driving engagement. This information can then be used to inform decisions and strategize more effectively.
Inside Hitachi Vantara's Very Ambitious Data Agenda
FPGAs and object storage systems. IoT edge computing and converged server infrastructure. It would be a big understatement to say that Hitachi Vantara has a lot going on, but it also might be why the company is so interesting to watch, and why you might want to keep an eye on it, too. Last week, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese industrial giant swung through San Diego, California, where it hosted its Hitachi NEXT 2018 user conference. The show served as the one-year anniversary of the creation of Hitachi Vantara, which emerged from Hitachi Data Systems in late 2017 (you'll remember that it bought big data analytics firm Pentaho in 2015).

Can AI help strike the right emotional tone for content?
As the volume of digital content grows exponentially, marketers are spending more time than ever trying to understand what resonates with their customers. Over the next couple of years, artificial intelligence (AI) could boost these efforts by pinpointing the best emotional appeal, subject matter, style, tone and sentiment to focus on. U.S. marketers spent more than $10 billion on content in 2016, according to a Forrester estimate. For many marketers, their content marketing strategy now includes a wide range of tactics like social media posts, short- and long-form video, live video and sponsored articles. However, for most, content is delivered with a piecemeal approach.
